A shared agreement between students, teachers and our community. It keeps school safe, fair and ready for everyone to learn.
The whole picture
One code. Eight connections.
Code of conduct
Respect · Learn · Belong
Code of conduct
Respect · Learn · Belong
Our shared promise
What you can expect from school
/Lessons that challenge you, honest feedback and help when you need it.
/A safe, inclusive school where everyone is treated fairly and respectfully.
/Clear boundaries, explained consequences and a way forward after mistakes.
/Your mentor is your first person for academic, personal or emotional support.
This agreement was shaped by students and staff, and is reviewed every year.
Behaviour & respect
Small choices shape our community
/Arrive on time, prepared and ready to take part. Leave rooms tidy.
/Use respectful, inclusive language. Aggressive, discriminatory or unwanted physical behaviour is never acceptable.
/Leave classrooms at break and lunch unless a teacher is supervising you.
/Water in a sealed bottle is fine; food and other drinks stay out of classrooms and corridors.
Technology with purpose
Create and learn — do not disappear into a screen
/Hand your phone in during Homeroom every morning. It stays safe and is returned at the end of the day.
/No phone use during the school day, including corridors, break and lunch.
/School laptops and iPads are for learning. Care for them, keep your login private and report damage quickly.
/Smart watches are not permitted. Personal devices are treated in the same way as phones.
/Only use AI in assessed work when your teacher has clearly permitted it.
Unauthorised phone may result in immediate suspension and a letter home.
Academic integrity
Your work should sound like you
/Submit your own genuine thinking, effort and voice in every task.
/Credit sources properly. Do not copy, share individual answers, reuse assessed work or use AI without permission.
/Collaboration is great when the teacher allows it — ask before you begin if you are unsure.
An academic integrity breach means a zero and a letter home, followed by a conversation about what happened.
Campus & uniform
Enjoy the campus and respect its limits
/The hill, skate park and children's play area are off-limits during the school day.
/Use the gym only with a member of staff. Amor is for M4 and M5 students.
/M4–5 may use Outlook vending machines at break and lunch only.
/Wear an H-Farm logo top. Clothes must be school-appropriate; no ripped trousers, indoor hats, visible chains or headphones around school.
Bullying, safety & online conduct
Nobody should feel afraid, targeted or excluded
/Bullying can be physical, verbal, social, discriminatory or online. Repeated intentional harm is serious.
/Do not post, share or forward content that humiliates someone, or share images and private messages without consent.
/If it happens to you, tell your mentor, a trusted teacher or the counsellor. You will be heard and supported.
/If you see it, speak up safely. If you are unsure, tell an adult anyway.
Online behaviour outside school can become a school matter when it affects someone's safety or wellbeing. Cyberbullying and privacy breaches may also have legal consequences in Italy.
Attendance & trips
Showing up gives you the best chance to succeed
/Aim for at least 80% attendance and arrive on time for school and every lesson.
/A parent or guardian should report illness before 8:30am. Missing an assessment through illness requires a medical note.
/Planned absences need approval in advance; speak to your mentor and teachers early.
/On trips, stay with your group, follow staff instructions and represent H-Farm well. School and zero-tolerance rules still apply.
Attendance below 80% leads to a formal review and a support plan.
Your voice & wellbeing
Asking for help is a strong choice
/Start with your mentor for almost any concern — academic, social, personal or emotional.
/You can also speak to a trusted teacher or contact the school counsellor directly.
/Share ideas through your class representative and Student Council, or take a concern to the Assistant Head of MYP.
/Adults respect your privacy, but must act if they believe you or someone else may be unsafe. They will explain when this is necessary.
No concern raised honestly will be used against you. The door is open — you can simply say, “I need to talk.”

The values behind the rules
Curious. Creative. International. Responsible.
We solve problems creatively, learn by doing, welcome different cultures and identities, care for our environment and keep growing. Technology should help us create, connect and solve — never distract, copy or disengage.
